"Naahh bro, it's not brostep, bro..."
DESPISE (Denver, CO) crosses genres and blesses Section 8 with another
excellent representation of a sound we recognize, not by a blanket term, but by
a culmination of influences that have created a melting pot of
industrial, metal,
and brock-out
influenced music.
..."maybe it's the real metal alternative form of dnb/dubstep?"
1.) We don't know... 2.) We don't care.. as long as the musical geniuses #occupying this tracklist keep doing
their thing... right?
..."the vocalists in this mix are particularly amazing"...
Joanna Syze, Alys Be, and even Current Value himself (duet with Snow) for the first time
ever. If you don't know.. get to know. As for the instrumentals... expect some
step-friendly
clattering breaks accompanied by grunge-guitar laden bass-lines and soul-less intricute
crescendos.
In this podcast episode we feature a slew of dark and heavy drum&bass and driving tech dnb tracks from the recent Tech Treatment 2 LP that came out on Section 8 just a couple of weeks ago.
